Three for Three!

2010 marks the seventh year for Clay in Mind, the NJ High School Ceramics Competition based in Burlington County. The exhibit occured on Saturday, May 1st.

This event is open to all schools in the state and each district is allowed to submit up to three pieces. Twenty pieces are selected as award winners from the pool of entries that annually exceeds over sixty submissions. HTHS has participated in this event every year since its inception and has earned awards each time. This year is the fourth time that all of the HTHS entries were selected as award winners!

Along with the other CIM Award Winners, Carly, Rebecca and Jessica will have their work featured at the first friday exhibit at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia. This special exhibit will run through May 15th. The Clay Studio is an internationally reknown gallery that features ceramic art and is located on Second Street in the heart of Old City’s gallery district.

Congratulations Carly, Rebecca and Jessica! I'm so proud of you.
